The Tapestry of Dreamweaver

A constellation of cloth, dreams, and protective signs.

Taking the form of a talismanic shirt, this work brings together cyanotypes on paper and fabric. Constellations, invocations, magic squares, and seals are sewn into a surface that can be unfolded and read.

The relationship between garment and book places protection close to the body. Each variation gathers its own arrangement of images and materials, enclosed in a box whose cover echoes the celestial imagery within.
