Transpose / Tahawool

Seven shirts, seven wishes, and a sequence the reader can change.

Transpose takes the protective language of talismanic shirts into a bilingual Arabic–English book. Seven shirt-shaped pamphlets carry wishes for power, celebration, magic, prosperity, affection, peace, and health.

Held on wooden dowels within a box, the pamphlets can be removed and rearranged. The reader decides their order, giving a personal rhythm to wishes once associated with privileged access to protective garments.
